2 years of Rajasthan government: Rajasthan’s exemplary management of the Corona Pandemic

The state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot, is going to complete 2 years of its third term on 17 December. While the whole world appeared constrained by the challenges of the corona pandemic, he started the ‘Nirogi Rajasthan‘ campaign with a visionary mindset to keep the common man healthy. In this campaign, people were made aware of their health, which proved to be very helpful in fighting the corona pandemic.

With the occurrence of the Corona pandemic in the state, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot introduced the first lockdown in the country, which stopped the community transmission of the pandemic. He also strengthened the health infrastructure in the state.

Covid screening facility in every district

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot, the State Government insisted on conducting more testings from the beginning and increased the testing capabilities. Now, the capacity of doing more than 60 thousand corona tests every day has been developed in the state. Rajasthan is the first state in the country to have an RT-PCR lab set up for testing in every district. Corona is being tested in 38 government and 23 private labs in the state.

Health infrastructure made strong

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot stressed strengthening the health infrastructure of the state. Strengthened oxygen facility in hospitals in all 33 districts of the state so that there is no shortage of oxygen in any hospital. The state has the capability of more than 12 thousand oxygen beds and 26 thousand oxygen cylinders available for per day supply. Also, one lakh quarantine beds, 42 thousand isolation beds, more than 1352 ventilators, more than 1672 ICU beds are available.

Made people aware by Jan Andolan

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot made ‘Jan Jagrukta Andolan‘ a major weapon to control the corona. These public awareness movements made the common people aware of the protection from the corona. They were encouraged to wear masks, keep two meters away from each other, and wash their hands repeatedly with soap or sanitizer. It also made it mandatory for everyone to wear masks through ‘no mask, no entry‘, as the mask is the best weapon to protect from the corona until the vaccine arrives.

Mobile vans for treatment of common diseases

OPD mobile van service started for the treatment of common diseases to the common man of the state when the traffic system was closed during the lockdown. Also, it provided free medicines and tests to the people, so that people do not have to wander for treatment and they are safe from the corona. During this period, about 550 OPD mobile vans are being provided for the treatment of common diseases. Along with this, the portal of www.esanjeevaniopd.in was launched to provide medical treatment and counseling services to the people at home, through which free medical counseling and health services are being made available to the people online.

Created an incentive fund for those fighting Corona

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot created a fund of Rs. 25 crores for the encouragement of doctors and paramedical staff working continuously to save the lives of people from the corona pandemic. Ex-Gracia assistance of Rs. 50 lakhs has been announced to the dependent / family of all the state government employees on untimely death due to corona infection while on duty related to corona campaign.

24 Hour War Room 181 Troubleshooting.

With the help of 181 helpline number, home isolation information, medical counseling facility, Solution of beds and ambulance problems and 24 hours assistance is being provided to the infected patients.

Task Force constituted for COVID-19 Vaccine

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to set up a three-tier system for monitoring and coordination to make the vaccination campaign successful in Rajasthan to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. Under which state-level steering committee, state and district task force has been constituted.

Thus, in the second year of his tenure, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has made better management to save the people from the pandemic like Corona with his efficient leadership. Due to which the rate of recovery in the state is increasing and the death rate is less than 1 percent. Apart from all those efforts, the state government is working continuously to make Rajasthan a better and safer place to live.
