Many types of employment-oriented courses have been started by Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation in the state. Schemes like Rajquick, Saksham, and Samarth have been started in February to connect the youth of all sections of the state with skill development. The main objective of starting these three schemes is to provide maximum employment and self-employment to the youth of the state by providing skill training. Through these schemes, it is remarkable that employment and self-employment are being provided to more than 1 lakh youth of all sections every year.

In this, special attention is being given to train more and more rural youth through the corporation in courses like plumber, electrician, and fitter because ‘Har Ghar Nal Connection’ is being given under Jal Jeevan Mission in the state. In such a situation, trained artisans can be available in the villages also and they can get employment at the local level. For this, RSLDC had signed an MoU with the Water & Sanitation Support Organization. Under this, 39,193 youth of the state have been given short duration training of 4 months in plumbing, fitting, and electrician.

On the initiative of Hon’ble CM, skill training is being provided to the beggars to make the cities of the state free from beggary. They are being connected with the mainstream of the society by providing employment to them. And so far, skill training has been provided to more than 4 lakh 40 thousand youth in the state.
