Rajasthan, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot, is achieving milestones in the field of health security.
Whether it is a commitment to the Right to Health Bill or to realize the concept of Healthy Rajasthan, he has made sure with his decisions that he will not leave any shortage to provide health protection to the people of the state. With the implementation of the country’s largest insurance scheme ”Mukhya Mantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana”, Shri Gehlot is working to connect people from every area with this scheme. To provide the benefits of this scheme to the maximum number of people, CM Gehlot has given a big relief to the people to join the scheme and has also instructed the officers to work on the mission mode.
Now, the state government is providing a free registration facility on e-Mitra to the people to join the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi scheme that provides cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
From registration of the scheme to depositing premium to printing, people do not have to pay any fee to e-Mitra. The government will bear the entire fee of e-Mitra. In this scheme, the insurance premium of the families which come under the National Food Security Act & Socio-Economic Census 2011 and the families of small & marginal farmers and contract workers will be borne by the state government. Rest of the citizens can connect to the scheme with a small deposit of Rs 850 only as insurance premium.
The public will be able to avail of the benefits of Covid-19 treatment as well as 1576 packages under Mukhya Mantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana in private and government hospitals across the state from 1st May. With this insurance scheme, CM Shri Ashok Gehlot has given better health security to the gamut of citizens and has also reduced the burden of expensive treatments from their shoulders. With this initiative, Shri Gehlot has given hope of a new life to many needy people where they will be able to live happily after getting treatment for their diseases. Today every citizen of the state should be grateful to their CM for implementing such schemes which are directly in favor of the benefits of people. Through this scheme, CM Shri Gehlot’s government has ensured a healthy future for the people of the state.
