Rajasthan-Sampark and 181 helplines are operated in connection with government departments and facilities of common people. On this, complaints related to electricity, water, roads, pension, etc. can be lodged 24 hours; Also any information related to Covid can be obtained on the integrated helpline 181.

Helpline to protect consumers’ rights
Apart from this, the State Consumer Helpline toll-free number 1800-180-6030 is operated to protect and promote the rights of consumers. Through this system, consumers are being given their rights. Recently, the Government Secretary of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs issued directives for wide publicity of this helpline, which shows the commitment of the State Government to the resolution of good governance. As per the instructions, the promotion of toll-free numbers has been ensured on social media platforms and all ration shops and places of high traffic.

Helpline service operation time
Helpline services are operated from 10 am to 5 pm to protect and promote the rights of the consumer, on which the complaint of the consumer is heard and resolved. Also, consumers can register their complaints 24 hours on the website www.consumeradvice.in.

Redressal of complaints
About 85% of the complaints received on the helpline like airlines, banking, education, e-commerce, electricity have been settled. Recently, on the complaint of a student of a private engineering college, the remarkable work of getting 70 students’ caution money simultaneously was also done through the helpline.
