“Shuddh ke liye Yuddh” campaign – A unique example of freedom from adulteration

This year Deepawali will be celebrated on 14 November. At this festival, people will buy sweets made from the market. But some shopkeepers adulterate these sweets, which adversely affects people’s health. To prevent food adulteration, the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has started a special campaign called ‘Shuddh ke liye Yuddh‘ from October 26, which will run till November 14. This will lead to drastic action against adulterants who play with the health of the people.

There is abundant availability of milk, spices, and other food items in the state, but some adulterants adulterate milk and products made to earn more profits. Consumption of them worsens the health of common people and people suffer from many diseases. To save everyone from all these things and to prevent adulterants from doing so, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has instructed government officials to start this campaign from 26 October.

Informers of adulteration to be rewarded

The state government is taking strict action against adulterants in the state, but it cannot be made successful without public support. For the success of this campaign, it is very important that the common people are also aware of and support the government’s ‘war for the pure‘ campaign. Because adulterers make their whereabouts a place where the administration sometimes does not reach, while people are aware of them, but are not able to speak openly against them. The government will keep the names of those giving information about adulterants confidential and give them appropriate rewards as incentives if the information is found correct.

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot directed to form a committee under the chairmanship of the collector at the district-level for planning and effective implementation of the campaign. The public should also cooperate with the administration with full responsibility in the same. The government is fully conscious of everyone’s health, so it is the responsibility of every citizen of the state to inform the police or the district collector immediately if they see such incidents around them.
