The Covid-19 pandemic has worsened the condition of not only India but also the world economy. While the World Bank estimates that the corona pandemic will have a major impact on India’s economy, it will also result in a steep decline in India’s economic growth rate. Because this epidemic has come at a time when the Indian economy was already suffering due to pressure on the financial sector. Corona virus has increased pressure on it. In fact, the last few months have been a nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus.

 Due to which all factories, offices, malls, businesses etc. have been closed and the economic growth rate was affected due to domestic supply and demand being affected. In such a situation, Rajasthan remains the first choice of many investors even while fighting Covid-19. All services were closed in Corona. If the business stops, then the movement is also stopped. Despite this, due to the support and trust of the people of Rajasthan, the Chief Minister of the state, Shri Ashok Gehlot, has made tireless efforts to maintain the spirit of development in the state.

The pace of work was slow in lockdown but due to better management in the state, the state government did not let the wheels of development stop. As a result, along with Unlock 1, the Chief Minister gave the gift of development works in many parts of the state. In this series, Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot gave the foundation stone of 12 works costing a total of Rs 1056 crore and inaugurated the office building of senior city planner under the smart city project to the Kota district, called the education city.

Dev Narayan Integrated Housing Scheme

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot had announced the Devanarayan Integrated Housing Scheme under Kota district under local bodies and urban development in the announcements of the budget 2020-21. The estimated expenditure on this scheme is about 300 crores. Under this scheme, allotment of plots and residential buildings has to be made to livestock owners to live and take care of their animals. With this scheme, the residents will get rid of the problem of stray animals. Due to timely completion of all the development works proposed under the Smart City Scheme, the beauty of Kota city will improve and this city will emerge as a center of attraction for foreign tourists. 

Chambal River Front Scheme

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has gifted Kota district another unique project like Chambal River Front. The special feature of the Chambal River Front plan, to be built at a cost of about Rs 307 crore, is that with the development of this scheme, Kota will earn fame on the map of modern architecture and architecture in the whole world. Under the proposed scheme, a 6 km long heritage river front will be constructed in Kota city, which will showcase the coordination of culture and architecture of the entire Rajasthan. Under this project many gardens, cafe-restaurants, etc. will be constructed and statues of great personalities of the country and state will be established from place to place and will be developed as attractive tourist destinations.
